For Prophet In Select Theaters

For Prophet is a modern day It’s A Wonderful Life; a heartfelt drama, and laugh-out-loud comedy, with strong values and deep faith. For Prophet follows Damon Fisher (Ben Martin - Chicago Fire / Chicago P.D.), a normal guy living in a normal suburb with financial issues, marital troubles, major spiritual problems after the death of his father, and the constant companionship of an annoying otherworldly cameraman (Enrico Natale - The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain). His hometown of Mt. Zion is crumbling. And after getting mugged, he has to sit through the City Council cutting the local funding to the homeless shelter his stepmother, Dr. Sharon Fisher (T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh – In Living Color / Cosby / That’s So Raven) is trying to save.
He then encounters The Archangel Raphael (Valentina Garcia - Booked It!) who divinely inspires him to expose city corruption during a visit to the town’s most popular radio host, DJ Kenny Randy (Bert Belasco* (BET’s Let’s Stay Together), accusing the mayor (Eddie Jemison (Ocean’s 11, 12 & 13) of all sorts in the process. Life get worse as he tries to balance his issues and his sanity while holding on to his business, his wife (Stephanie Wohar), and his newly returned prodigal brother (Dennis Florine).
For Prophet is a film about a man’s coming to faith within the reality of the struggle that is life. With an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other, who will he ultimately hear and follow? Advanced Chemistry Premieres at Dances with Films This Wednesday, June 26th!!!
In the sexy science film Advanced Chemistry, Allen, a scientist (Samba Schutte - Our Flag Means Death / Sunnyside), injects his best friend Marcia (Chaunte Wayans – Fifty Shades of Black) with a compound he's created to help her stop cheating on her wife Sarah (Sarah Burns - Barry), but when Sarah finds Marcia’s new fixation suffocating, Sarah gets a dose too, which backfires when she accidentally falls for Allen. Meanwhile, Allen is also competing with fellow scientist Lisa ( Kiran Deol - Sunnyside) for funding under the watchful eyes of lab manager Jim (Iqbal Theba - Glee) and Safety Officer Nancy (T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh – In Living Color / Cosby / That’s So Raven). And wait, Lisa's kinda cute. So of course madness, mayhem, and sexy, sexy comedy ensues!
